If you are looking to experience the Florida Keys in true local flavor, you've found it!  One of the first motels in Marathon, the Tropical Cottages opened in 1952.  We are a cottage style motel retaining our island style charm, updated with today's modern conveniences.  All cottages have been recently renovated with updates including new bathrooms, appliances, tiled floors and comfortable furnishings.  Each cottage is decorated in relaxing pastel colors.

We offer stand alone cottages providing privacy (no guests beside or above) as well as standard rooms, our most budget friendly option.
