Welcome to the Tropical Cottages in the Florida Keys! We are a family owned, cottage style motel at Mile Marker 50.5 in Marathon, Florida. Conveniently located in the heart of the Florida Keys (halfway between Key Largo and Key West) our guests can explore all the Florida Keys has to offer. Each cottage is tastefully decorated, air conditioned and furnished with everything you need to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.

A short stroll (1/2 block) takes you to the breathtaking waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Our kayak launch and dock* are available for your use as guests of the cottages.

We are within walking distance to Sombrero Beach, Crane Point Museum and Nature Center, shoppping, groceries, restaurants and bars. Nearby attractions include Bahia Honda State Park, Long Key Park, Curry Hammock, the Dolphin Research Center, the Turtle Hospital, the famous Seven Mile Bridge, Pigeon Key, Sombrero Reef and much more. Our friendly and helpful staff will be happy to help you plan your day. Whether it is kayaking, bicycling, charter fishing, boating, shopping, sightseeing or beachcombing, we will provide you with the local information you need to get the most out of your stay. After your adventures come "home" to relax in one of our tropical outdoor seating areas or take a nap in one of our comfortable hammocks. However you spend your time here we are sure you will treasure the tranquility and privacy of our island getaway.
